Default Bertram Edmonston

I have received my second Parker Pages magazine and saw the advertisement for Bertram Edmonston, master engraver. I'm thinking of having some engraving touched up and wanted to see if anyone here has sent anything to him and if so, what were your thoughts. For what it is worth, I did have a very pleasant phone conversation with him and he seems to be a really nice fellow.
Thanks as always

Yes I have had a number of Colts engraved by Bert. He can do anything you’re wanting done. If you must know anything else send a PM.

Thanks Travis, I was going to ask him to touch up some engraving on one of the Parkers. From what I have seen this should be an easy lift for him.

Make sure you mention that you saw him in Parker Pages.

What would be the typical cost for touching up the full engraving on let's say a VH. (what little there is)

I've had that done on a VH, and it isn't a quick job if done right. When originally engraved, the border was probably done by a kid who made fifty cents a day. Take a close look at those VH borders and imagine a master engraver doing it at his normal rate of pay.
