Default Hard case for Parker with 26” barrels

I’m figuring this question has been asked ad nauseam so I apologize ahead of time. That being said, I own a 20ga. Parker GH with 26” barrels. Does anyone have any recommendations on what locking hard cases would be a good fit for it? Many thanks!

Hi Kevin,
I have a Parker Reproductions leather luggage case with canvas cover that will fit it perfectly. It's in very nice condition will take $425, shipped to you in the lower 48.

A Parker Reproduction case or an Abercrombie and Fitch VC case. One reasonable if you can find it, the other off the charts for cost.

The Repro Case and Cover is the way to go.
Then go on ebay and buy one of the Parker Bros leather labels sold by a seller in the Ukraine. The label will completely cover the Repro label and they look great.

I agree with posts above if you are looking for a stylish case. However, if you do serious travel by air, water or land then I would recommend a modern molded locking case (TSA approved if flying.) There are dozens of youtube videos comparing and testing the many brands (Apache, Pelican, Nanuk, Negrini.) The cost can be less than $100 to almost $1000. They are all function and no style compared to the ones mentioned in earlier posts but will protect your Parkers from serious abuse.

Thanks to all of you for your advice. I plan on getting both a Parker Repro case and a TSA approved travel case as well. Dennis, if your Parker Reproduction case is specifically made for a 20ga. with 26” barrels and has the lock key, I’ll take it. Otherwise, I might look for a bit more. Thanks again.

Kevin,
I'm not sure any case is "made specifically for a 20 gauge". As far as I know, Parker Reproduction cases were made to fit 20 and 28 gauge guns and the snap caps for either will fit. Mine does have a key. Someone chime in please if I'm wrong.

You may be right, Dennis. I’ve been looking into this a lot and found one on a Parker Repro case that stated the barrel length it can accommodate is 26” with the block in place and 28” without it.

My case is for 26" or shorter barrels. It has no block to remove.

Perfect! If it’s for 20/28ga., I’ll take it.
