I wonder if Foster Jr. was working for Remington when that cover was used. Great work, Dean.

WHF senior was editor and publisher of National Sportsman and Hunting and Fishing at that time but I don’t know when young Bill Foster began working at Remington. I’m sure Art Wheaton, Allan Swanson, Fred Stump and another two or three could answer that question.
