Default Question on "letter" info ....

Just took possession of Parker VH 20ga. SN 197***, 30" barrels, 0 Frame. Gun is as represented by seller.

I ordered a letter from Chuck and received it during this past week. All info seems to match except the weight of the gun as ordered. Chucks letter indicated weight at 8 lbs. A 20ga. 0 frame with #3 barrels at eight lbs. seems a bit much. This gun weighs 6 lbs. and a bit on my bathroom scale.

Could there have been a mistake or miss read.... ?????

Thanks, just asking no shade on Chuck.

It could be a misprint, either in the record or from Chuck. I had a letter that included a date that was incorrect. I emailed Chuck and within no time had a corrected letter. Chuck rocks!

Bruce,
Contact Chuck and run the discrepancy by him. The cards are difficult to read sometimes.
I've contacted him a number of times in cases like this and he has always been great.

Handwritten pages in a book rather than cards, but yes, they are often pretty hard to read.

Thanks guys. I send Chuck an email and see what he has to say. I do not see this as his fault at all. Just looked like a misprint or translation of old hand written records.
