Default DH bird arrangement

I just purchased my first DH and it was mentioned that the bird arrangement on bottom was unique and it got me wondering how many different bird arrangements was used on the DH? Did certain engravers do cerain arrangements? Post pictures if you have them handy. Thanks

Real nice Rob. I like that style a lot. It's different from any I have.

My DH serial number dates it to 1893. Here are the sides.

I wish. It’s a 2 frame 12ga with 30” barrels.

The contour of the barrels seems especially dramatic which is why I ask about the gauge and frame size. It’s a beautiful gun
And the engraving still sharp. Very good example of Parker engraving.

Somewhere I read an asticle about Friday engraving (I believe that’s what it’s recerred to) where it was too late in the day or week to start working on another gun so they did a little extra work on what they were finishing up.

I did some back reading of old threads to get a idea of what I was wanting to know. Would the birds on mine be prairie chickens or quail?
