Eldon,
I cannot tell by your photos of the grade. The "E" is for ejectors so that is easy to confirm. A C grade will have birds engraved on the sides of the receiver. The checkering pattern looks like a C grade. At first glance the wood looks great. I can't judge the wood to metal fit, ie is this wood a restock? Are the barrels tight on the action? Are the bores smoth and shiney? Are the barrels thick enough, ie have not been honed or reamed to be too thin? See this thread: http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7889 Are there any cracks in the wood? If everything checks out an A grade with that wood would be a great buy at $1500! A CE in very good condition sells for $3000 to $4000. Mark

Eldon;
I agree with Mark but your best bet would be to visit the AH Fox Collectors Association website for everything Fox. I'd buy that gun for $1500 if the barrels are sound. |

One good picture of the receiver will tell us everything. Gun appears to be unusual in that A grades didn't have checkered stock panel cheeks. That was only normally found on B grades or D grades (and up). That said, anything can be done on a special order from the factory.
