Thanks for the question. The Board Of Directors acquires a desirable Parker Brothers shotgun every year for the purpose of raffling to raise money for our operating fund. This year it's a 16 gauge Damascus. Last year we added a second prize which was a very nice Hume leather gun case. This year we have added a third prize. We draw the winning tickets at the annual meeting each year. We sell tickets at gun shows and shooting events, such as the Southern Side By Side Championship at Sanford, NC, and also at the Vintagers at Pintail Point, Maryland, where we're having our annual meeting this year. We change locations for the annual meeting. We automatically mail a book of 5 tickets the first week of July to every PGCA member who's dues are paid effective July 1st each year. Tickets are $5 each. We also will mail tickets to anyone, member or not, who contacts us and ask for the tickets. My wife, Irene, and I manage the raffle with her doing most of the work.
