I wish i had given more thought to replacing my broken stock. The repair is doable but after all is said and done it is still repaired, doing this well takes time, tools, materials and and skill and thus costs as it should. others may differ

I almost did. This is one of the two Parkers I inherited from my Pop. Of the two, this GHE was his favorite and he bought it when he came home from WWII.
It's obvious this break has been cooking under the covers for some time. Since I'll pass it onto my son, I want to make it right... nonetheless I have a budget. |
