Default Birthday Surprise

My little boy surprised me today with a birthday card featuring my setter, Snoop. I was taken aback. Thought I’d share with the setter lovers here.

That’s awesome. The likeness to Snoop is amazing. Note the bird in the grass Snoop is pointing.

That has to be some kind of new minimalistic art. That kid is on to something Big!
I’ll buy the original painting on the spot. Name your price!

Happy birthday Victor!

What a wonderful characterization of your beautiful setter. If I’m still alive when he’s college ready, look me up — I have some recommendations.

Victor I started a Treasure Chest over 40 years ago. Took an old boot box and put things in it after it had gone up on our Brag Board. ( cork board) where we pin special things.
In there is my oldest daughters first tooth, school medals, special notes, cards, drawings you name it. All from the kids as well as my wife and recently a number of later additions from my granddaughters.
I get it down every great once in awhile and look through it. I hope some day when its discovered it brings a lot of laughs and happiness when they open the Treasure Chest.
Somethings are just to special to not save.
Victor I also vote to have that picture framed.

I have saved every home made card that my Daughters made for me and now, that my Grandchildren have made for me. Whenever I am asked what I want for birthday or Christmas I tell them to make me a card. To me, that is more special than anything money can buy.
