Default Boyt??

Kathy and I felt a little brave (and very bored just hanging around after Dave and Danny headed home - wishing they hadn't left so early) so at 2 P.M. we decided to gather up some savings coupons and head for L.L. Bean in Freeport, ME. The driving was pretty nasty, snowing and blowing all the way up and even worse coming home (2 1/2 hrs each way) but we managed to pick up a few nice things.

I liked this takedown case so I bought it and it fits a certain 16 ga. hammer gun very nicely. Of course it is identified with an L.L. Bean label but I'm thinking it might be a Boyt. Does it look like a Boyt to you?

It looks like their standard small or medium takedown case... Which - By the way - ANOTHER outdoor outfitters store sometimes carries.. The one you WOULD HAVE DRIVEN RIGHT BY AND NOT STOPPED IN AT..

Sure looks to be a Boyt to me Dean.I really like those soft sided take down case's.We wish we could have hung around but with the weather coming in it was time to "get out of Dodge" as it was it was an interesting ride home. Our thanks again for putting up with a couple of Connecticut flatlanders....

John, I'm really, really sorry but KTP never sends me any savings coupons

Maybe if I knew somebody there who could get my name on the coupon list . . .

[QUOTE=Dean Romig;10414]Hey Dave, anytime you want to do my chores like this . . . you can stay as long as you want to Brave man indeed, shoveling snow from the metal steps with no heavy parka or hoodie to block the wintry blasts of Andover. Stay warm!!

Maybe you guys should let us rebels know exactly which stores you are referring to. My last trip to Maine included a visit to Big Jim A. I don't get out much.
