The only faults I see on the gun as of now is just on the right hand side. The screw that holds the hammer is not original. I just need to now found a good replacement. Oh and another thing would this be a good candidate to be sent off for refinishing ? or would it ding the value of it?

Post the serial number. It appears to be an average early top lever Grade 0 or 1 Parker. They made thousands of them mostly from 1882 to 1889 but they are the guns that made Parker famous. your gun has plenty of faults and has been very well used. Good Luck with it.

Your gun is Grade 0 32" 10 g with a pistol grip in the Parker records. They made circa 3759 guns exactly like it. If the barrels are sound $400 was a good price.

Well they are pretty good I wouldnt rate them at mirror shine. It does have a few pits though =/, So does anyone know what it would be worth to restore the gun or not?

Put it back to a place where it's clean and shootable, anything further and you'll have more in it than it's worth.
I just shot some squirrels this afternoon with one of the same grade and gauge but in the earlier lifter action. They still work just fine, the squirrels had no idea it wasn't a Benelli. And before anybody asks, I used light 1 1/4 ounce loads for the squirrels. Destry
