You’re customizing your repro - it’s that simple. Do what you want. If it was an original high condition Parker I would advise against it. Look at the A1S Repros from the Custom Shop that were engraved (mostly by Gournet) to some very unusual motifs…
If anybody can do it, Geoffroy can! .

Absolutely go for it! Since you already have had your SSS custom-stocked with that fabulously figured piece of English walnut, might as well have Gournet customize it further with the Prairie Chickens! But, why stop there? You could even have him do the side panels with game scenes of your choice . . . hey, it's only money!

I agree, do it. I love Geoffrey’s work. The A1 I picked up that he did is out of this world gorgeous.

If you want it to look like a Parker, ask for him to do it in the “old style”. Vs. More modern bulino work.
See here a repro 28g that I am doing with him now. “Upgrade” to CHE style. Maybe it will provide some inspiration for your project. Note that the bottom and sides were completely wiped out and re done from scratch. Double setters were by the clients request. IMG_2844.jpeg IMG_2845.jpeg

I have seen Brian's project and it is stunning -
a conversation with Gournet may be more rewarding than our opinions and as said, your gun - your desires
