Default J.A.R. Elliott.....

Saw a killer piece today at an antique show. The $275 price tag held me back but I got a picture. Original celluloid advertising sign for his ear plugs.

"Restores impaired hearing."

I'd buy a hundred of them.

...and stand on my head to do it! (and to read the sign)

Seriously, I often wonder if guys like Elliot or Gilbert had any hearing left in their old age.

Default Ear Protectors

Great counter ad from turn of the century. Fair price for a nice piece. There are a couple variations of the easel back advertisement. Have seen several in 30 years of collecting. The ear protectors are
a little harder to find...

I don't know why it posted upside down, it shows right side up on my phone.
