Default Reflections of the Mind and Soul

Got to spend another beautiful day hunting on the season's last day in South Dakota. Good dog work and wild birds are always a joy. Jeff Sweeter and I were fortunate to have a good hunt to remember. Reflection of our blessed bounty and adventure is sure to weave the fabric of anticipation.

Check out the reflection on the trigger plate.

Great pictures Dean, looks like you had a great season. Nice V, is it a 12 ga?
I got to spend some time on the phone with Dean on my trip out and back to South Dakota at the tail end of the season. We moved lots of birds--most flushing out of range, but this was our first ever trip out there. We are already planning a return trip for next year, maybe extending it to 10 days.

Harold, it is a 16 gauge. Like you, I prefer to hunt with my smaller bores. I don't get to hunt quail or doves that much so my 20's/28's do not get much use in the field. Therefore, I typically grab a 16.

Nice! Roosters just seem to pose well with a Parker.
