As always Sarah's cookies were delish! We were eating high on the hog at the campground. Chef Bob Fabian worked wonders on his grills, there was a lot of smoked grouse, pheasant, and Scotty's venison sticks. Dutch the Deutsch drahthaar kept interlopers away from the cookies. There was plenty of brown liquor also.
Newcomer Ron Scott with his Scottish Dickson was a welcome addition and shooting pardner.
I'll post some pictures.

Dean and Dorothy stopped by, as did Bill Biddle and
Cole Johnson, the artist, who was hilarious.
We had a little rain, but that did not dampen any spirits.
Plenty of nice guns were passed around, and a Trojan
20 went home with one of our campers.

Lots of old friends there, but didn't get to talk to many of them but briefly.
Shot 5 stand for the first time, that was humiliating. I shot between Randy Roberts and Phillip Balwell, 2 of the nicest guys around-- but not who you would want to shoot against. Turned around after that and shot my best score of the weekend with my VH 20 26".
There were some extremely challenging/ridiculous targets that stymied every shooter that I saw shoot--the across the pond shot.
Already looking forward to next year, and hoping to make it back up to "Evil Mike's " at Rock Mtn in July.

Harold try five stand at some other places , Hausemann’s is one of the three most confining or atleast it feels that way to me five stands I’ve ever shot . And station 3 on the big bore course was a bit much my best on that was 3 of 8 .

Craig, I was 1 for 8 on that station each time I shot it(3×), and had no idea what I had done to break one.

Harry, in my opinion I thought the targets were very good and were fair to any "skill-set" from any shooter. Station #3 on the big bore course was tough, but fair for everyone. It was a pair of long crossers that started at 48 yards, crossed right to left and angled slightly away. Best I did was 3/6 in the Hammer Gun Main. Shot two at it with the 8 for giggles and broke 1/2. Overall the scores were not indicative of the easing up of the targets across all three courses. Even the 5-Stand was softened up. Shot the Main Hammer first thing Saturday then took out my favorite hammerless Parker. Was down 1 target after 7 stations when the sear leg broke! Had to finish with Tad's Trojan which is not even close to my VHE live bird gun, and proceeded to stink the joint up! I was so looking forward to shooting the pond crossers with my main gun too!! It is what it is. Daryl set some good targets on the Fox events. Always fun to have Steve Cambria hand over $$ from a Fox event to a Parker shooter!!

BTW, Dan May fixed my VHE already and it'll be ready for the Ohio SxS in September and the Fall Southern in October.
