Please put a picture of the original paperwork and shells. If they are original parker paper shells, the shells are worth more than the gun.

But the engraving is still as sharp as when it was new and the finish on both the metal and the wood is basically very lightly worn. There are others here who will freely give their opinions of its value... but my guess is that the owner is looking for insurance value which will always be higher than what someone would 'like' to pay for such a Parker. .
