Default barrel length of repos

Been looking at repos on gun broker and guns international. It appears to me that few guns that are not part of a 2 barrel set were made with 28 inch barrels
( in 20 or 28 ga. ) Is there number or per cent that were made with 28's ?

No one knows the percentage, but we do know that most of them are locked up in collections and will not come out often.

There were several 28" mod/full small bore guns built.Only a handfull of 28" open choked guns.I was told years ago that there were 25 IC/mod and 25 Q1/Q2 guns in 20 gauge and the same number in 28 gauge.

When I purchased my first 28" Sporting Clays Classic I was told there were only 100 produced. And of those 100 produced, 50 had 28" barrels and 50 had 26" barrels. I'm still looking for one of those twenty six inchers.

This note, written by the seller and whom single handedly revised The Parker Story himself, accompanied my SCC when purchased:

What value would you put on a SCC with 28" bbl, NIB?

Although the listing lacks detail, here's a 20ga w/a single set of 28" barrels for someone who might be interested.

Looks like no case, could of possibly been part of a 2 barrel set.
