Default lifter gun with 28.5 inch barrels

I recently saw a parker lifter hammer gun on a gun auction site. The gun is a grade 0, 12 gauge, with a set of 28.5 inch twist steel barrels. Both chokes are cylinder bore. I was hoping someone knew whether or not parker ever made lifter guns with 28.5 inch barrels. since these are the shortest barrels I've ever seen on a lifter, i can't help but to wonder if the barrels have been shortened. Thanks in advance.

The best option would be to post the serial number and let one of us check the book to see if it is listed. That would give you the original length

I would expect that length to not be original

That lists as a 12 ga. that left the factory wearing 30 inch barrels
