Default Creating a Parker under lifter hammer

A Parker top action (not under lifter) in need of a replacement right hammer. Parker hammers are difficult to find, so make one. Hammer work by Lou Rotelli.

Original left hammer as model

Billet stock and radii layout

Rough milled hammer

Semi-finished hammer, only polish, heat treatment, engraving and coloring to complete.

That style of hammer and the gun pictured is a top action. Not a lifter.

That is a lot of work there.

Thanks Keavin. I make all parts for any double gun. The hammer takes a good eye and about 3,000 file strokes!
