Dean that gun is all you my friend. If anything screamed Romig it's that gun. I would make this modification once you get her home and that is to trash that ugly recoil pad and fit it with a Morgan adjustable pad. That coupled with the comb and you can dial it right in. i can 100 straights in your near future.
PS If its a 12 don't forget to port the barrels...mabe some Briley screw in chokes |

I think I saw this gun in Rutland about 12 years ago, in company of a more conventional try gun also built on a VH frame. The the stock and metal work were not adaptations of commercially available parts but apparently made by the gunsmith / fitter. My guess is that this one was an attempt at a competition dimension try gun.The butt plate is adjustable, as I remember.

I do believe or friend "Long Range" would have the Morgan pad on that and have it down in "the bottoms" killing birds!!
