Default The Parker Story

I'm looking at a two-volume set with slipcover and the guy wants $350.00 for it. That seems like a pretty fair price. I'm wondering about what information the "Story" covers, or basically what the books are all about. Is it in story form or is there technical info included. Thanks for any info anyone can provide! Also, what do I need to look for when buying a set?

The Parker Story is a must have for any Parker enthusiast. The two volume set contains everything related to Parker Bros., literally.

That's a good price. The books do have stories (of the firm and noteworthy Parker owners, etc.) and lots of data (production numbers), and wonderfully illuminating information about the maker and the many guns produced.

It really is a "must have."
