Default possible?

Just got my letter on a VHE 16 straight grip. What are the chances that a VH could be made into a VHE and a pistol grip into a straight grip and look like they came from the factory?
I don't understand. Are the records wrong? Did some work get done at the factory at a later date without a record?
Dazed and confused

Quite possibly. A lot of Parkers went back to have repairs/modifications done and there are missing books which could very well contain information on such work done to your Parker.

Well, the ejectors were a $25 option on a normal gun. I think that is probably what they would have gotten for the conversion too.

Default Ejectors

We all have to remember that there were record errors, and I might add for as many Parkers that were shipped the records are amazingly true.
I own a AAHE 12 gauge that is as right as rain, but there are no records on this gun. Is it real? I would bet my life on it. Can it be proven real? NO!
I would love to have this gun letter, but it isn't that important to me I know where it came from, and where it has been. I know it was shot at the world championship in Potugal in the 60's and have the stickers on the replacement sstock to prove it. It still does'nt matter It's mine petigree or not.

OK, Jim, you have my attention. What era is your gun from and who shot it in Portugal in the sixties? Was he an American shooter?
