Default Parker Wood Vise

Gentleman, I have a Parker Wood Vise Model 446W, does anyone have any info
on this product, year of Mfg & its value. I can find lots of info on their machinists vises but nothing on this one.

It is the type of carpenter vise that attaches to a work bench at waist height, right? If so, I do understand that model to be one of their rarer ones. Seldomly seen.

It's real nice, that handle won't do though.

Tom, other than the handle being a bit shorter than normal, and the red end caps, that handle is just as it left the factory. The larger version had a metal handle.

I have a hardware catalog from the early 1950's that show these Parker woodworking vises still available.
