Bill,
I believe Francis is correct in that Parker did not make cases but shipped guns in cases from the various makers of the time. My PGCA letters often mention a leather case but never the manufacturer. The 28 gage below came in a Red Head case. Hope this helps.

Try searching for "leather gun cases for sale" or "LOM" cases for sale, etc. I have found several

Kevin McCormack always has a few cases. He bought and sold cases this weekend at the Baltimore show. He is listed in the Parker Pages. I would search for a Red Head or Brauer Moose Brand leg of mutton in the proper length. These are the proper cases for thirties and forties vintage Parkers. They are shown in the catalogs. Earlier cases shown in Parker catalogs are virtually nonexistent. What is the vintage of your 28 gauge?

Default Great older guns- Damascus or Proof Steel barrels?

[quote=WILLIAM STANELL;15573]my 28 gauges are from 1907 and 1911.

My 16 PH was lettered as shipping to Maine in June of 1908. I'm so used to my 12's that it seems like an even smaller gauge- handles like a dream- 26" barrels and size O frame. Bill- my son-in-law and I will be at the Cabela's Gun Library and Main Store in Dundee, MI this coming Friday 26th. Would you be interested in a Parker Repro case(s) if they know of any, or do you want a period leather case to fit the vintage of your 28 bore Parkers?

I use Boyt heavy two-way zippered cases for all my long guns- just have one cheapo LOM case that will take 28" barrel length. But I will keep my eyes open for any older case I may come across in my travels and let you know if I find anything. I love a good quest- keeps me sharp and focused!
