Default Silvers Pad

Who else other than CSMC (in the US)sells the Silvers pad? I thought it was Jeffs Outfitters but he doesn't list them on his website.

Can someone also tell me the thickness of this pad?

Derrick

I bought one from CSMC earlier this year and had it installed by Brad Bachelder in GR Michigan (who also sells them). My pad is 7/8" thick at the center of the butt.

Hope that helps,

J

Default Thickness

I thought they were available in a couple of thicknesses. I got mine through Mitch Shultz at Gunsmithing Limited in Fairfield, CT who installed the pad.

After this picture was taken I used a little sandpaper to take around 1/8" out of the pad to get a better fit for my LOP.

Actually - I have a new Silvers 1.5" pad that I bought a couple of years ago for an 0 frame, but it wouldn't fit... Soooo - here is the deal...

I will send this to anyone *for free* provided they:

- Are a PGCA Member (not just a Member of this Forum);
- Have at least 10 posts on this forum;
- Have a project gun they can use it on (no parts hoarders )...

I think I paid about $50 + shipping for it? But, if you meet all the conditions above and can use it - be the first to post in this thread - and PM me your snail mail address and I'll send to on to you...

That's a damn fine stick of walnut under the pad. Care to share the details behind that gun?
