Decent gun, agree with Dean, hopefully bores are not badly pitted. Fore arm is the biggest distraction, he is one from a close serial # gun. Its the one off that set of 34" O frame 16 I picked up several years ago.

A few members here may be able to supply you with a replacement parker fore end. It would improve the appearance.

Thank you very much for the information and comments. I have to decide if I keep this weapon or not. Does anyone have any idea of its value if I am replacing the forend wood or not.

Nobody can give you an estimate of value without the barrels first being examined and measured for safety.
If the barrels turn out to be worthless then the gun has little value. Keep in mind that a Forum Associate, such as you are, is not allowed to offer for sale or to solicit offers for any gun. Become a nember and go to our Members Only section for buying and selling guns. .

I don't believe this gentleman is located in the USA so purchasing the gun from him would be difficult at best.

The gun needs a complete forend. Wood and metal.
