Default 2021 Fox-Parker Challenge--Let's Light This Candle!!

From: The A.H. Fox METAVERSE

To: Parker Bros. Gun Works--W. Meriden, CT

2021 Fox vs. Parker Challenge

It’s hard to fathom that next month’s Fox vs. Parker Challenge (FPC-X), scheduled for Sept. 16-18th at the Vintage Gunner’s Cup at Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow will mark the 10th Anniversary of the perennial classic, pitting “The Finest Gun in the World” against the “Old Reliable.” The boys from Philly wholeheartedly concur with Mr. Einstein’s dictum that, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results” therefore, we’re adding an exciting new twist to the challenge team selection process. In a concerted effort to appease both the competitive and casual shooter alike, we’ve come up with the following format change for the 2021 event.

For the hard-core competition shooters, hand-in your scorecards as usual as the TWO top scores from each team will earn the ANCHOR spots. For those shooting purely for enjoyment and the unrivaled camaraderie that is the hallmark of this esteemed contest, bury your scorecard in the nearest pile of bear scat and just have fun! We don’t care what score you shoot and it will not be displayed, however if you’d like a chance to make the Challenge Team, simply drop your raffle ticket stub (provided at the Fox booth) in the appropriate bucket and hope that Lady Luck comes calling.

At 1 p.m. sharp on Saturday, four names will be drawn at random from the Fox bucket and four from the Parker bucket, (the last ticket drawn from each will fill the two Alternate spots.) That’s right-- even Koneski can figure the math on this one---66.6% of the Challenge Team spots will be selected by random draw, a move that we hope will boost member participation and allow some new blood a chance to shoot for the vaunted, FPC Cup!

captions from R-L
"Holy S#%$....on my best day, I couldn't lace their sandals."

"Good God, look at that Tool Man crush 'em. He shoots like Digweed and moves like Baryshnikov...we don't have a chance in hell."

"Do these three know I'm a bad-ass?" (PS--Ulysses S.Grant called, he wants his beard back)

"I can't close my mouth, I'm awestruck. I might have just peed a little."

Roasting lamp is lit.....Toast 'em if you got 'em!! See you at The HOLLOW!!

That means Team Parker will have 12+ tickets in the bucket and Team Fox will have 5-6 and we know the esteemed Fox Pres won’t be one of them!! Talking Frank into shooting his Parkers. Maybe our Parker guys will collaborate before hand and only turn in our top six scores? It’s all about the “W” next to the team name. Just sayin’.

That "W" will be next to the Fox team this year as there will be shooters coming up from the farm team previously unheard of in this arena but intent on upsetting the status quo. Just sayin. Better bring your "A" game.

Coke is for kids and second place teams.

Enjoy your syrupy brown liquid.

The winners will be imbibing on brown liquid meant for men.
(Or should I say the shooters of the guns from Philly).

Y’all will need that booze as salve for the beat-down coming!! I prefer Moxie, but Coke will do. I think you guys have already been hitting the bottle, especially Tool-Boy judging by his previous post.
