Default I'm cured, I'm cured

Finally the 12 steps have been reached successfully at least for a while. For the first time I went to the Southern and didn't buy anything. There was temptation in the form of a wonderful 410 hammer gun but a bad stock repair turned me away and then the GE Lewis 16ga hammergun which I strongly gave consideration to but I have 4 already and there was a nice VHE 20 skeet gun but I bought one last year. Lots of nice guns lots of temptation but my check book stayed intact for now

I did make a stop in Virginia on the way home and adopted a very sweet 6mo old GSP however

There is no cure. Just relapses! Then is comes back with a vengeance.

Maybe some day you can help me with that relapse

Congratulations and my condolences on the GSP pup! I was raised with GSP's and have two now. They are the best/worst dog. haha. I really do love them and would buy another if my wife would agree. You can hide a shotgun in the house, but you can't hide a bird dog.

In our home, we couldn’t even imagine life w/out a Shorthair. Congratulations on your new pup, Rich. We hope to add another either this, or next yr.

I actually came back with one less gun than I had going up which is a real first. I have a bead on a replacement for it and will feel much better when I am back to break even.
