Default New Pup

Somewhere in this pile will be the 2024 Draft Pick. I love my Gordon, but she is not a duck dog (nor should she be expected to).

I thought I wanted a Boykin to replace my late AWS, but I just enjoy hunting over a pointing dog. With the type of duck hunting that I do, one of these Liver Britt's should fill the bill. I don't hunt big water, and the Gordon just won't sit or stand for those early morning pass-shoots. Plus, I can hunt them together for grouse and woodcock. I owned a Brittany over 30 years ago, and I really like their personality and temperament. I have the second overall pick, so I'm pretty confident.

Alfred...take 'em all! How can you not?

That’s a beautiful sight. You can’t go wrong with a Brittany, but heck what do I know

You will love having a Brittany again. They have so much personality, and they are fun to train and work with. Puppy time is so special...enjoy it.

These are the two females in the litter. Both appear to be traditional liver and white. I was hoping for a dark roan pup, but only three males turned out that way.

Alfred,
I have had Brittanys all my life and from the look of the litter there isn’t a bad choice in the lot. I am drawn to that second female though for some reason.

The more white. Especially in the face.

It's funny because the one with white on her face is the one I like as well. We are going to get a look at them this afternoon. They are five weeks old and obviously not ready to go to homes yet, but we are going to physically see them.

Based on the videos and updates from the breeder, that white one looks like a feisty gal.

My dad had a female liver Brit named Molly born in 1974. That was by far the best dog he had in 60 years of hunting

I selected this one. Any pup is a gamble, but if the breeding and genetics are there, it sure increases the odds.

A little whiter than I had hoped, but nothing that can't be covered with a camo vest while pass shooting ducks. That white will help out in the grouse and woodcock covers.

I have enclosed an image of her great grandsire. My guess is she will look similar.

She comes home end of November.
