Ugartechea 20 Ga. Grade ?

Default Ugartechea 20 Ga. Grade ?

Can anyone help me identify grade of Ugartechea AOC/SG-61. Thanks have been looking and don’t know the guns that well.

Billy,
Your gun would be a Ugartechea Grade #3 had it been imported by Lion Country Supply in PA. You can Google Ugartechea and watch a video discribing all five grades that were previously imported.

It was imported by Aspen Outfitting Co. I was told but I still believe it is a 3. Thank you for your help.

Nice gun, I have a Grade 2 20 ga (LCS), and a grade 1 28 ga.

These were guns made for Jon Hollinger who owned Aspen Outfitting. They were finished to his desire and he requested the features he wanted. AOC is still in business, but it appears they are no longer importing these guns. Here's an old thread from 2007 https://www.thehighroad.org/index.ph...otguns.311151/ on the AOC guns.

At the end, a grade 2 20 ga was approx $2000 and a grade 1 28 about the same--I would guess a new grade 3 would have been $25-2700. Go to Lion Country Supply and see if they still have any listed.
