I wish I had seen your note earlier Dennis. I went up to the shoot and would have said hello. Very nice shoot. Unfortunately the 5 stand kicked my butt. I do enjoy the side games they play at most of the Michigan shoots. Good fun.

I have to come out to one of the MI or WI shoots sometime. It's one section of the country I have never explored except for some business meetings in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Worked with a woman for years who was from Eau Claire WI; she hunted and fished for everything. Would save her annual leave for late Sept. and early Oct. and go home for a hunt and fish fest every year.

You're always welcome to come out and stay at our house and ride up with me Kevin. Many of the shoots are within 2 hours. Jon Hosford hosts a fun shoot at his club that a little over an hour from me.

You need to come out and shoot the Lewiston (MI) Sportsmen's Club Sporting Clays course. Have never seen one as good. Built on an old ski hill. The colors in the fall are really special. And, oh by the way. there is a bar with the best burgers ever down the street The room rates at Casa Dallas are very good

So, did a SxS win or did that honor go to a soul-less girly O/U or veg-o-matic? Asking for a friend.

Ed Davison (Mr 21) w on high overall shooting a beautiful Winchester model 21. I believe I won the long bird competition with a lovely purpose built Parker 12 gauge GHE with 32 inch barrels choked 045 in each barrel.
