Edger,
It was great to get to meet and speak with you at the Stamford show this weekend. One thing is for certain, you sir are no dummy. |

Thanks Larry. It was a treat to meet you, Dave and Dean. I wish I could have stayed longer, and am sorry I didn't get to say goodbye before I left. As I said to Dave, I was delighted to see what a great display the PGCA sets. People who know 'Old Connecticut' manufacturing, know we're very fortunate to be home to the three greatest gun manufacturers ever. That you gentlemen give your time to man these tables, and share your knowledge, is a credit to the PGCA.

Edgar,
I've got a couple of those shells too. Mine don't have headstamps other than gauge so I've no idea who made them. Do yours? Destry

Destry, the .410s are marked REM UMC, and the 16ga. are marked Winchester Ranger.

I'll have to check mine again but I swear neither is marked. I've got a .410 and a 12 gauge I believe. I've got a whole box of Winchester ones, but they're fairly modern plastic shells.

Edgar,
Any chance you are related to Christopher Spencer, the inventor of the Spencer Repeating Rifle? He was from Ct. |
