So if the sale price was low, in your opinion what would have been a sale price closer to the relative market value?

I dunno I think that price was in the fair realm by a few hundred dollars . Actually I think 4k is fair but you gotta take into consideration I’m not a big fan of the Repros .

Mike, I am by no means an expert on this but I think that is a $6K gun any day of the week, but I might be wrong.

I had that on my watch list but did not pay attention to the end time.
Ending at 4:21 A.M. Eastern left a couple grand on the table and scored someone a sweet little 28. |

You will probably see this one for sale again. The buyer has 613 transactions on GB. He is probably a dealer. The going rate on similar 28 repros is $5500 to #6500. It will show up at a show or on Gunsinternational.

The astounding wood apparently does not make up for the detractors, single trigger and 26" barrels. I guess everyone who ever wanted one already has one. I am a fan, by the way. Mr. Skeuse can overnight at my house any time.

Like the Corvette, the Parker Repros represent an unbeatable value, particularly in the smallbores, representing a product that by any measure would be orders of magnitude more expensive if bespoke or even special ordered to customer specifications.

This was a fair deal. The sold price is pre inflation dollars for a single trigger repro 26" with common IC/M. While the wood looks good, I'm not a fan as it has the look of sap wood in a way, not my favorite. I think the price reflex's the slow economy for sure and that is gunna get worse next year. We will see a stronger market as we head into fall hunting, but cash is still tight, and sales will continue to be off. I am a full time FFL# dealing in mostly new hunting guns and the new sporting gun market is sluggish. Oh...Just a heads up....powder is in short supply and has been for a while. The ammo makers are running short of powder, demand is up for the war effort. We have trade warnings in place as I type. Telling of canceled ammo orders for the wholesalers. So, get any live ammo you need now as the demand and lack of availability is certain to drive up the cost, all due to the shortages and panic buying. The same thing they are saying about oil and gas prices to come. SXS Ohio
