Default A Gift From a Dear Friend

Edgar Spencer has had this old calendar kicking around since it was printed and decided to finally put it to good use. My place on the lake is just West of Augusta, Maine. I'll have to get over to the address on the calendar to see what sort of business stands in that location today.

I guess the calendar was never used because the pages are all intact. Of special interest to me is that it is a Hy Hintermeister print. I have several other much larger calendars with Hintermeister prints and this gift from Edgar fits right in. It isn't faded at all like it appears in the picture - the lighting and the angle of the camera shot makes it look dull and faded.

Thanks Edgar

What a perfect addition to your lake house, Dean!

Edgar, if you have a Wood Duck poster, I will buy a lake house to display it.

What's really cool is that was the year Edgar graduated from boarding school.
