I measured the chamber at 21.5mm which I thought corrosponded to 8ga. I could definitely be wrong about that.
Thanks for the info about dues paying members can sell. That is a definite possibility for me, especially since the cost is so reasonable. |

Bores are like sewer pipes with caked on rust and crud. But you never know, they may clean up to be okay to shoot.

For a 3 frame, it would be a 10g. And the book lists it as a 10g.
Left hammer is not original. Right is. Being damascus barrels, it would likely be equal to a grade 2. Though it lacks some features of typical grade 2 guns. But, it is an early gun.

Third pic upper barrel next to the barrel flat looks like a crack in the barrel. Barrels look like toast to me. May make a parts gun.

The 3-10 is the wt of the barrels in lbs. and ozs. before fitting to the gun.

Too bad it’s not an 8 gauge. It would be worth trying to bring back. Unless you have a lot of experience in Parker Gun restorations you would be better off spending $40 to become a member. Then you could list it in the For Sale forum where hopefully you could get some or all your money back. If the barrels are toast you got a parts gun only. If the barrels can be saved she could be brought back although her value would not be equal to the cost of the restoration.

21.5mm or 0.845" is the chamber diameter of a 10 gauge. 23.2156mm or 0.914" is the chamber diameter of an 8 gauge.
