There's some good information in this six page article from the Modern Parker Paper album in the All Albums section of this site:

There is a small amount of stats on the Parker Grades web page in the repro section. Not much but it is about all I have ever seen.

Forrest, the production total of "Custom Engraved A-1" at 300 probably includes the total number of A-1 guns intended for engraving, not the total actually engraved. Unengraved examples were sold in quantity by Galazan's, and other dealers and individuals ended up with more. In my opinion, they are a great investment if you can find one.

Bill, wonder if the $49K Remington Parker made by CSMC utilizes remaining Galazan unfinished repros?

No they aren't. The Remington/CSMC Parker is a 28 Ga, on a 00-Frame. The "in the white" A1-S Repros were all 12 ga. guns as I recall, with possibly a few 20 ga. guns.

Dean is partially correct. They were 12s and 20s, but more than a few 20s. If there were unfinished A-1 28s in need of engraving, they would be selling for $25000 or more.

Really Bill? I don't recall seeing any CSMC (or any other vendor for that matter) "in the white" A1-S 20 ga. Repro's for sale.
How many of those might there have been available? Anyone? |
