James, the Parker Reproduction by Winchester was manufactured in the Winchester Olin factory in Kodensha, Japan from the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s and was the brainchild of Tom Skeuse, president of Reagent Chemical Co. of New Jersey. He owned many fine original Parkers and shipped some of them to the factory to be reproduced in the most intricate dimensions and measurements using nothing but the finest steels and other materials available.
They are essentially duplicates of original Parker shotguns of the Remington ownership era and are as well made as the original Parkers. Many of our members own at least 1 Repro while a few have wonderful collections of Repros.
Here’s an original Reproduction brochure…
The two Repro stocks and forend are for a 28-gauge Repro project I’m working on for my grandkids.
