Default Early Lifter

A recent acquisition is a not in great lifter. [I know pictures] ser.# B 1382
Barells 25 5/8 maybe cut, not sure,a mark near the brl. wedge holder
and a 20 near it on both brls. farther down the brls. is an 11. Rib legend says
Parker Bros Makers,Meriden Conn. damascus steel.

stock is a nice grained walnut with a skeleton butt. some engraving on the bottom of the action in front of the lifter and there is a small dogs head between the engraving around the bottom screw and the engraving at the forward end of action. side plates have floral engraving at both ends and a chain border around the locks, hammers and hammer screws have minor engraving. barrell extension has tiny woodcock and some border engraving.
upper tang has minor engraving. water table has WHB and serial # , stock and forearm are checkered.straight stock,
wood is in good shape but metal is somewhat rough.
I have to buy a new cell phone as this one will not allow me to store Data so can not take pictures with it. As soon as I get a new phone I will take some pictures of this and 2 more lifters I recently found. A c grade and a g grade.
