Good morning from Oklahoma
I’m new to the Parker brothers guns so I’m trying to find out more info on this gun. It has a Me with a 8over 5 then on opposite side it says pat. Pending 1876
Then in center on the last lug it has a 3 And on barrel it has plain twist .
Serial number puts it 1881
My questions are was the gun actually made earlier and not sold till 1881
What gauge is it? I think it’s a 10 or 8 but just trying to clarify
