Harold,
Don't be disappointed on the loader Bob sent me before I sent the reply since you were looking for a 28.
I placed several orders with MEC to get the loader going. Forgot one part, a steel shot which cost me about $10 and then it went through the hole that indexes the wheel at the bottom so that was $10 wasted. Had to use a size 4 Hevi-shot which was free. Got a new crimp starter since the one in there was a 20 gauge (should have have made me think) , and the missing primer assembly in 28, and a missing spring. Used my powder bottles. So today I checked the powder it was dropping, 14.7 grains of Unique, and .80 ounces of 8s. Got my primers out, 28 wads and hulls and started to adjust. Funny thing, the shells would not lock under the rotating assembly.
Surprise, surprise! 20 gauge!
Thanks Bob. I see why you thought it was a 28 with the 3/4 ounce 28 bar in there. Ruined about a half dozen before I got it adjusted and working. Not the fastest, but now I have a 20 set up for 3/4 ounce. Sorry for the sideways photo.
