Gosh, Phil, I wish I could offer you some words to lessen your loss, but all of us who give our hearts to a dog know the pain of losing them. It is clear from what I know from your many posts: Missy had as good a life with you as a bird dog could ever hope for. There is no love like that of a dog. You and she were both blessed with your years together.
