I believe I understood from George that this serial number predates Parker's introduction of the 28ga.
It may be part of a group of guns from a single consignor, but it certainly doesn't compare to the other Parkers included in the auction. They have sent over better guns to Poulins, and this one sort of fits Poulin's usual level of guns.
It's kind of neither fish nor foul, as it's not a repro, but not entirely a Parker. I guess, push come to shove, I could make room for it though.
