For those searching for records on #3 frames, the order for gun #125,757, a 12 gauge DH, includes the notation "2 1/2 frame". The weights for the 32" and 28" barrels are 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and 8 pounds, 4 ounces. The order for gun #136,923, a 16 gauge VH, specifies "2 1/2 frame", 28" barrels and 8 pounds, 13 ounces. The order for my DH magnum ten Lefever sleeved gun (from 12 gauge) does not specify a frame size.
