Tom Carter sent me images of this very interesting 1881 Grade 5 Lifter. It was ordered as a "Donation to N.Y.S.A., Special Prize 1881 N.Y.S.A., For Protection of Fish & Game" The Charles Parker Co., N.Y. did not bill for the $225 cost of the gun.
It has the only 6 Iron Turkish barrels I've seen on a lifter.

The barrels have a number of decarburization flaws and I suspect Parker used known cosmetically inferior tubes for a 'give away' gun
