Jameson is a good standard because most decent bars seem to keep it these days. I also like Paddy's, Redbreast, and Powers. For some reason Bushmills leaves me cold, it has a strange aftertaste on my pallet that I just can't handle.

That being said, I've been drinking my way through a bottle of Basil Hayden that I got from a ladyfriend as a Christmas gift. Being as how my mothers family is all originally from Kentucky, the aqua vitae from down that way has a special place in my heart as well.
