I've done a lot of "shotgun brush-hogging" myself but the most memorable was the 1" silver birch sapling that sacrificed itself by jumping between my speeding 150 grain .270 bullet and the 7 point buck's heart.

I even saved the 9" section of the sapling and plan to mount it on a nice walnut plaque up on the wall where my antlers are proudly displayed.
