Thank you Tom, Chuck and Brian, I was in North Idaho when your thread came up and I mised it. I found it a most interesting read today.

Gun Broker auction # 316792994 (damascus Gun) Was also repaired by Remington Parker. My question to this board is How often do you see a Damascus parker with Remington repair codes on the damascus barrel flats???

In the 1950s an east cost educated Lawyer name of Ben Davis lived in my town. He shot a damascus DH Parker, his favorite load was the 1 1/4 Oz load of winchestrer #4s. He shot the gun very well, and I just accepted the fact that Parker damascus guns were okay to shoot.
