Yes Rick. I explained that in my description of the barrels - they were made in segments and welded together to make the necessary tube length. This was a short-lived experiment by Parker Bros to manufacture their own barrels. I think the 'appearance of the barrels' was probably secondary to producing a functioning, quality set of barrels.
