George, some may say the Remington era guns lack the same level of quality that the earlier guns had, however I have two now and have had others and I believe they are just as robust and reliable as the earlier guns. The Remington era guns are quite collectable in their own right, as are the skeet guns. I would say that the condition and diminsions of the gun will bear more effect on the value than whether it's a Remington gun or not. If it's nice and you like it, buy it.
