I kinda like it. Too bad about the barrels but I bet Brad could make a set of nice 30" or 32" Damascus barrels using the original lug block. It would be costly but might make a nice finished product.
I can't say for sure that the grip cap isn't inletted... I'd need to have it in hand.
I'll bet that gun has some interesting provenance.
